Welcome to Tapps Owl Wines, a six-acre farm and vineyard located in the heart of Lake Tapps! Our beautifully landscaped property boasts a completely renovated 103-year-old barn with sprawling indoor bar, cocktail lounge, fire pit, lawn games and outdoor patio with 8 custom-built wood farm tables and umbrellas available at your disposal. Our wedding package includes a one-night stay at our well appointed 3-bedroom farmhouse with additional nights available for an added fee. Our hillside vineyard of Pinot Noir grapes and impeccable landscaping provides a stunning backdrop behind the arbor to say ‘I do.’ Our barn is where the bar and lounge is located – guests can enjoy a drink and mingle in the indoor lounge area while the ceremony and reception are held outside. $4,500 base fee to rent the venue for 24 hours (from 11AM the day of your event to 11AM the following day). This includes a one-night stay at the farmhouse on the night of your event. Additional nights at the farmhouse can be added for $275 per night. If you add at least one additional night the venue is yours to use as a rehearsal space the day before your event.
The maximum occupancy is 120 people, not including event staff.
Included are 8 custom farm tables that comfortably sit 10-12 each with 16 accompanying benches that can be used as seating for the ceremony and brought back to the tables for the reception. All tables come with outdoor umbrellas.
There are no vendor restrictions – you are free to choose your caterer, cake, florist, photographer, etc. Food trucks are welcome.
Because this is a winery, Tapps Owl wine must be purchased for your event at a 20% case discount with a minimum of $500 (after discount is applied). No outside wine may be allowed with the sole exception of champagne. You are allowed to bring in any beer or other non-alcoholic drinks you’d like. You must have a licensed bartender serving at your event.
Due to a county-wide noise ordinance, all events must in at 10PM sharp.
If you require the use of a day-of coordinator you must use our exclusive venue coordinator which is an additional $1,250.
50% of the deposit is due upon booking and the remainder is due 90 days prior to the event.
All events must have insurance and a banquet permit which are purchase directly through King County and an insurance company of your choice.
