Our 2017 Tapps Owl Riesling is made from Columbia Valley AVA grapes and features notes of fresh cantaloupe and honeydew followed by flavors of green apple and lychee. Our Riesling is well-balanced and quite dry with a long finish. This wine is perfect for Spring days, warm Summer nights and would pair well with seafood and spicy dishes. If you do not like sweet white wines and enjoy a more dry Riesling then this is a perfect wine for you – it’s one of our favorites we’ve created so far.

About This Varietal: Riesling is a white grape variety which originated in the Rhine region. Riesling is an aromatic grape variety displaying flowery, almost perfumed, aromas as well as high acidity. Our 2017 Pinot Noir is created with grapes sourced from our winemaker’s vineyard in the Enumclaw/Auburn area, making this wine a rare Washington State, Puget Sound AVA Pinot Noir. This wine features aromas of dark cherry and tobacco with a silky currant and white pepper finish. This wine would pair well with a summer grilling sessions featuring salmon or roasted chicken, and pasta. Perfect for sipping on the back porch as the sun silently fades.

About This Varietal: Pinot Noir is a red wine that is typically light to medium bodied and fruit-forward. Originating from Burgundy, it holds a pleasant spot in the red-wine spectrum—not too dry, but certainly not sweet.
